P6 Meeting and Holiday Homework!

On Friday 12th December P6 met as a year group for a Question and Answer session ahead of our trip 9th-13th February. Almost all the green forms have been returned and we have requested that any remaining ones be returned next week. We have encouraged pupils to look at the Benmore 2015 blog with families and to work on being able to complete the poll over the Christmas holidays! Hoovers at the ready...

Secure Your Place for Benmore 2015

Thank you to all families that have returned the middle (light green) double page of the Benmore booklets. Please note:

Benmore has asked us for numbers and we will be sending this information to them on Monday 24th November. If you have not made a payment by that date, or contacted us, we will assume your child will not be attending.

The total cost is £260 but if your child is in receipt of free school meals the Parent Council have committed to paying half this amount. If you have any questions regarding payment then please email angela.christie@sciennes.edin.sch.uk

Information Session for P5 Parents/Carers

 

Two information sessions will be held on Thursday 12th June about the forthcoming residential week to Benmore Outdoor Education Centre in February 2015 for current P5 pupils, 

when they reach P6.

Sciennes at Benmore 2015

Current P6 pupils have just returned from Benmore Outdoor Education Centre near Dunoon and we are already planning our next residential for next year's cohort.

Monday 9th February - Friday 13th February 2015

Current P5 families will be invited to an Information session about the forthcoming residential next year, but meanwhile please explore the videos on this blog. We hope families will continue to support us in providing what we believe is an invaluable educational opportunity for our children.
